4-Hands Dinner with guest chef Jeroen Achtien

Dutch chef Jeroen Achtien will be kicking off the four-hands dinner 2021 season. He is one of the most creative young chefs in Switzerland. With a three-star past in Holland, he is currently Executive Chef in the Sens at Hotel Viznauerhof, where he has already earned himself 17 GaultMillau Points and two Michelin stars. His works of originality, technique and taste are experimental. There is a lot of fermenting, spherising and dehydrating behind his dishes. But whatever sounds pretty wild to start with, finishes up as taste in perfect harmony.

The young, ambitious chef grew up on the German side of Lake Constance, where he used to help out in his parents’ restaurant kitchen after school. Today, the food innovator cooks with fish and meat, but sometimes also likes to do without them and instead combines herbs and vegetables in such a refined way that even meat-eaters are thrilled. As Executive Chef in the Restaurant La Brezza, he never loses his eye for detail: “I don't want a flower that hangs its head on my plate.”

Guests with half board pay CHF 115. Guests without half board or external guests pay CHF 195.
