Outing to Bosco Gurin
27 December 2019
Located in the Maggia valley, Bosco Gurin is the village at the highest altitude in Ticino and the only one where a German dialect is spoken. As well as the language, the architecture of the wooden houses and granaries provides a reminder of the origin of the Walser people.
Allow yourself to be surprised by the hospitality of Gurin: thanks to its culture, tradition, and quest for harmony and well-being, it has become firmly established as one of the most popular tourist centres in Ticino.
Come with us on an outing to Bosco Gurin and follow in the footsteps of the Walser people.
